Position Statement: Dr. MaryBeth Gallagher is an occupational therapist, occupational scientist, and assistant professor at Duke University with a passion for growing and engaging the SSO:USA community. With over 30 years of experience in practice, teaching, and research—both in the U.S. and internationally—she brings a global perspective on occupational science and a commitment to inclusion. As Membership Chair, she aims to expand outreach, connect members across career stages, and foster a dynamic, engaged network of scholars and practitioners
